Day 1 | Hometown - Beijing Top

Starting your tour by taking flight to Beijing. Cross the International Date Line. Lose one day on the road.

Day 2 | Arrive Beijing Top

Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. Your tour guide will greet you at the airport arrival hall and then transfer to your deluxe hotel for a good night’s rest.

Day 3 | Beijing (B, L, D)Top

Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years. Start your city tour with a visit to the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Next stop is the Forbidden City. This complex, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings with 9999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. In the afternoon, continue your tour to the Temple of Heaven, which was used by Emperors to offer sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvest in ancient times. In the evening, enjoy a fabulous Peking Roast Duck Banquet. Attend “Legend of Kung-fu” Show.

Day 4 | Beijing (B, L, D)Top

The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass. More than 12,000 Kilometers in total, the Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only manmade object visible from the moon, and as one of the Eight Wonders of the world, it is also a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nationality. After lunch, see skilled artisans at work at a Cloisonné Factory. Then take motor coach to the Ming Tombs and visit the Changling Exhibition Hall. Back to city, walk along the New Qianmen Street and have an outside view of the beautiful Bird’s Nest and Water Cube up close. You’ll also have an opportunity to shop at one of the largest Jade Centers of Asia today. Enjoy famous Peking Zha Jia Mian (Handmade Noodle with special soy paste sauce and vegetables) at a Lao Beijing style restaurant, cap off the day by enjoying an Peking Opera Show at Laoshe Tea House.

Day 5 | Beijing (B, L)Top

In the morning tour to the exquisite Summer Palace (Imperial Garden), the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer resort for Emperors and the chosen few, with a boat ride on Lake Kunming (weather permitting). A shopping visit to a Silk Carpet Shop followed by a Imperial Banquet Lunch at the Bai Family’s Courtyard Restaurant. You’ll have your afternoon free to explore the city by yourself. Walk on the Wang-fu-jing pedestrian street very near to your hotels will give you a very relaxed afternoon and an unique experience to see local people’s life styles. Today’s dinner will be on your own.

Day 6 | Beijing - Xi'an (B, L, D)Top

Fly to Xi’an in the morning. Xi’an was the first Chinese city opening up its doors to the world during the Tang Dynasty. Over a period of more than 2000 years, Xian was the capital for eleven dynasties. Upon arrival, you will go to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, sightseeing the attached life-sized defending army to the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. It is regarded as “the eighth wonder of the world” and among the top archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Visit an Art Ceramics Factory before we enjoy the special local Imperial Dumpling Banquet Dinner and the traditional Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show in the evening.

Day 7 | Xi'an (B, L, D)Top

Visit the Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum in the morning. Enjoy a local special noodle lunch and watch Noodle Making Performance. After lunch visit the Ancient City Wall which is not only the most complete city wall that has survived in China, but also one of the largest and most complete ancient military defense systems in the world. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of the city. It is said to have been built to house and protect Buddhist scriptures collected by the Chinese monk, Xuan Zang, the key figure in “Journey to the West”. Local special cuisines will be served for your dinner.

Day 8 | Xi'an - Shanghai (B, L, D)Top

This morning, fly to Shanghai, the modern metropolis and commercial center of China. Meet your tour guide, take Maglev train to the city center in just about 7 minutes and experience the speed as fast as 345 miles per hour. Transfer and Check into your hotel. Enjoy famous steaming dumpling Dim Sum for your lunch. In the afternoon, your half day city tour starts by walking along the famous Bund, a mile-long stretch along the Huangpu River. Lined by the colonial architectures of European design, this area is the best place to capture the western influences of the old days. Continue to visit the Ming Dynasty Yuyuan Garden which is considered to be one of four greatest Chinese gardens. After a local cuisine dinner, you will have a relax Night Cruise tour on the Huangpu River.

Day 9 | Shanghai (B, L, D)Top

After breakfast, visit the ShanghaiMuseum to see the ancient Chinese art, furniture and jade. After ample time admiring the numerous exhibits, you’ll be given an opportunity to shop for the highest quality Chinese farm pearls. Enjoy your lunch at the Lv Bo Lang restaurant for most classic Shanghai flavors. The restaurant has hosted heads of states from more than 40 countries. This afternoon, spend your time to explore the bustling shopping district, Nanjing Road. After dinner, enjoy an exciting Chinese Acrobatic Show.

Day 10 | Shanghai (B)Top

Free day today. You can spend your day to explore the city by yourself or join one of our optional tours: one day tour to the best garden city of China, also called the “Oriental Venice”, Suzhou ($99 per person), or tour to the famous water town Zhou-zhuang or Wu-zhen ($99 per person).

Day 11 | Shanghai - Hometown / Hong Kong (B)Top

Your tour guide will meet you in the hotel for your airport transfer by hotel shuttle bus. We know the trip is over, yet the experiences and memories will certainly last a life time. You’ll get home the same day you leave China.
